Hazard Awareness and Identification Training for Supervisors 5 Feb

OSHA requires that employers be responsible for identifying hazards and hazardous conditions that can be found on many jobsites. Current regulatory language now refers to qualified and accountable supervision of employees. Most employers utilize supervisors and managers as their front line defense in establishing a safe work environment. Unfortunately, many of these individuals are technically experienced on the tasks involved but have little or no training in how to identify and mitigate hazards according to OSHA. This course lays the groundwork on how they can marry their expertise and technical knowledge with regulatory compliance issues. This course is designed for all levels of supervision but would benefit the new supervisor (less than three years) in identifying some of the responsibilities they may not be aware they have due to their position.
