ENMU-Roswell is offering three one-week Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Training classes in May.
The classes are aimed at individuals who already possess a valid New Mexico Class A CDL permit, medical certificate, and some driving experience. These courses will provide individuals with additional instruction and driving experience to enhance their ability to pass the CDL Skills Test.
Topics covered include: Defensive Driving, Pre-Trip Inspections, Air Brakes, Backing and Control Skills, and Road Skills. The cost for these courses is $900 per person. ENMU-Roswell also offers a 16-week accredited course suited for those individuals who do not have any experience. The 16-week CDL course is eligible for financial aid. Students who enroll in the 16-week course will receive their Class A CDL permit and medical certificate as part of their course of study.
