Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to be responsible for conducting on-site safety and health consultation visits to New Mexico private businesses and State Government agencies. The purpose of the consultation is to review the employer’s safety and health programs, and to conduct a walk-through of the workplace to assess hazards and ensure conformity with Federal and State Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The position is also responsible for completing timely and technically written reports, entering data into the OSHA information system, and ensuring hazards are abated within established deadlines.

This position is a Pay Band 70.

This position may be filled in either Albuquerque or Roswell

This position is with a small acute care hospital that is part of one of the largest health systems in the country.  They are fully accredited by Joint Commissions and offer a wide range of services.
