New Classes and Updates for 2018

Keeping the National Center for EHS Education (NCEHSE) at the forefront of training is our mission. For 2018 we will continue to meet ANSI, OSHA, and USACE standards for training and content. There were many changes to OSHA regulations in 2018 and our classes reflect the new materials and requirements.

Competent Person in Trenching and Excavation Class June 22-23

Regardless of the depth, OSHA requires that all trenches be inspected by a designated competent person for possible collapse or other dangers that could be experienced by the workers. OSHA does not recognize experience alone as a qualifier for signing off as the “Competent Person” on the required paperwork / permits and mandates technical training for the person filling that position. New ANSI – Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Course Offered for 2016

In keeping with the ever changing requirements for professional formal training for workers and supervisors NCEHSE is offering a new H2S Hydrogen Sulfide Worker Awareness / Refresher course for 2016. Unlike substandard 4-hour courses that basically teach workers to run when smell H2S, this full day course helps the worker understand the dangers, signs, symptoms, and mitigation measures they need to take to protect themselves and co-workers while working in and around an H2S environment.
